Eileen MaryPAYNEof Farm Close Heaton Chapel, sadly passed away on Tuesday 5th September 2023 at Astbury Mere Care Home, after a long illness bravely borne.
Before her retirement Eileen had worked as a journalist on several local newspapers for many years, including the Stockport and Macclesfield Advertisers.
The funeral is to be held on Monday 25th September 2023, with a service at Stockport Crematorium, Cypress Chapel at 12 noon, followed by her burial at Mill Lane Cemetery.
Flowers can be sent to The Co-operative Funeralcare, Manchester Rd, Heaton Chapel or donations to Cancer Research.
